Before your appointment at Versus, please review our salon policies to ensure your experience with us exceeds your expectations. 

SALON ETTIQUETTE

  • No outside food is permitted in the salon. We offer light refreshments as a courtesy.

  • Children and guests are not permitted to accompany clients to their scheduled appointments. Our salon has a limited amount of space for clients awaiting scheduled appointments and our stylist stations are not suited to accommodate guests. To avoid unnecessary danger and a distraction to our team members, guests and children are not permitted to attend salon appointments unless they are also scheduled to receive services. If a client is unable to make arrangements for their guests or their children, we kindly request that you reschedule your appointment.

DEPOSITS 

  • Deposits are required on all appointments. Deposits will be due no later than two weeks before the scheduled appointment or the appointment may not be reserved. Appointments scheduled online will require immediate deposits to confirm booking. One reschedule is permitted without penalty if requested within 48 hours of the scheduled service. If a client is not able to keep their appointment and does not give us notice within 48 hours of their scheduled appointment or does not show, the deposit will be surrendered. Pre=purchased Packages and Groupon Vouchers will be held as deposits for applicable clients.

  • If a client books an appointment online and needs to make a change, it is best to contact the salon so your deposit is not affected. If a client cancels their appointment online, it is the responsibility of the client to notify the salon so that a refund for their deposit can be processed.

LATE ARRIVAL

  • We make every effort to prepare your stylist’s schedule so that clients can be serviced on time and receive the full attention of their stylist, so in the unfortunate event you are not able to arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, you may be asked to reschedule. Alternatively, if a stylist is behind on their daily schedule, we will make every effort to notify clients of schedule changes that might be necessary as soon as possible. This should only occur in unforeseen circumstances as we do not double-book our stylists.

REFUND POLICY

  • If a client is unsatisfied with their service, they may contact the salon and consult with their stylist about resolving the concern. Appeasement services will only be honored for technical missteps if a client contacts the salon within one week of their original service.

  • No refunds or exchanges are permitted on the sale of retail products.

BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Please disclose all services you are hoping to receive at the time of booking your appointment so that the appropriate amount of time can be allotted. Services requested at the time of the appointment may be declined to ensure your stylist stays on schedule. If you are not sure which services you will require, please schedule a consultation so we can ensure accurate bookings.

CONSULTATIONS

  • All of our stylists offer 15-minute consultations for clients who wish to ask questions about their hair care or styling options. Consultations cost $20 and paid for at the time of booking. Consultation fees go straight to your next appointment and will be deducted from the final total of your service.

  • Consultations are required before booking all braiding, loc, weave, extensions, and coloring services.

GROUPON VOUCHERS

  • Offers on Groupon are only redeemable for clients who have not received services with us in the last 12 months. Clients may not redeem more than one voucher per year. Vouchers may only be redeemed for the services and stylist listed in the offer and a client who wishes to redeem a Groupon offer must disclose this at the time of booking. Vouchers presented at checkout that were not disclosed on booking will not be accepted and the full price of the service will be due. Clients redeeeming Groupon vouchers should anticipate additional charges.
