What You Should Know Before Coloring Your Curls
We love creating fun color looks for your curls, but there are some important things for you to consider before you decide to do a color overhaul!
Color services will stretch your curls out. Following your color appointment, you’ll notice a more loose curl and you may require a stronger hold gel to strengthen your curl pattern
Coloring your hair is dehydrating, and curls already need more moisture than other hair types. You will notice more dryness and a need for intensive moisture. Make sure you’re using a color-safe leave-in conditioner
Dryness leads to frizz, so you might require an additional moisturizing product in your wash’n’go routine to fight the frizz
We always recommend following up two weeks after your color service for a protein treatment to restrengthen your curls that are often compromised during color services
